California Will Sue Car Companies for Global Warming

This may be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. How can a car company be sued for helping with global warming? That should be up to the customers purchasing the vehicles to decide whether it is worth it to them to buy an efficient car. Wouldn't that time they are spending on lawsuits be better spent making efficient vehicles? I am not a fan of flaming liberals such as those who would sue a car company over global warming. Are they going to sue the hurricanes for wreaking havoc on the East Coast or sue the volcanoes for pollution next ... Anyone want to make a bet??
